Conference "Factoring 2006: Affordable Financing to Growing Businesses"
April 4, 2006., Moscow at Marriott Grand Hotel
The Russian factoring market is growing at an impressive speed: annual growth is about 200%.
The market has great growth potential. Factoring is most appropriate for fast growing and successful companies. It is a good means of floating assets replenishment for medium and small businesses.
Therefore, the need for factoring increases with the development of the real sector of the economy.
Factoring is a new collateral-free financial service for small and medium-scale enterprises that enables them to enhance product sales, facilitate accounts receivable collection and reduce the number of uncollectible accounts.
Factoring combines three functions at once: client's accounts receivable financing, the collection of his accounts receivable, and if provided by the agreement, acceptance the risk factor associated with nonredemption. Therefore factoring is especially demanded by medium-scale and small companies that need both to replenish their floating assets but often do not possess sufficient resources for the timely collection of accounts receivable, and to evaluate the reliability of their debtors.
A structured factoring market pattern will be presented, and the strengths and weaknesses of market participants will be characterized at the conference.
The aim of the Conference is to provide market participants, consumers of factoring services, governmental authorities, investors, and journalists with reliable and relevant information on the market, its participants and development trends.
Conference participants: the project is intended for a wide group of entrepreneurs, managers, bankers, investors, officials, advisers, sponsors, and mass media.
The results of the factoring market research for the year of 2005 will be presented at the Conference.
